Settling in Frederiksberg

Hey,

So I have been living in Copenhagen now for 5 months...  We got our new place a couple months ago and have already re done the living room and the bedroom. I think Mat plans to work on the hall way in January when he's done exams. I'm debating whether i should attempt another course for my university.  I might just leave it the way it is though. I haven't really found time yet for anything... although I do have to say that I get pretty lazy when it comes to doing the school work.  I have plenty of time for cleaning, cooking, laundry....  I guess i just rather live in a clean place than be doing school work.  It doesn't help that Mathias is a slob, and I can't really live with a messy place.  I've been working quite a bit lately.  I need to though, I keep booking trips!

My mom came out to visit me here, and we also flew to Paris, to see the eiffel tower, the champs elysees, liberty flame, notre dame cathedral, arc de triomphe, the moulan rouge, sac le coeur, montmontre area, the latin quarter.  Not only did we take the boat trip along the thames, but we also sat drink wine along the thames with the eiffel tower in our view.We took the Eurostar train from Paris to London, where we ride under the english channel for 40 minutes. We didn't see any fish down there though.  In London we caught all the main sites, and got to see the changing of the guards.  I took my mom to go see Les Miserables in Soho.

My sister just booked a trip to come visit me after Christmas. We've already booked plane tickets to go to Berlin for a couple days.  We'll have to start up with some research for that city!  I'm also going to be showing her all around Copenhagen, and taking her to Aarhus for Mathias's grandparents Julefrokost.

Mathias was thinking about going Skiing this winter. In my experiences Skiing is always a very expensive holiday, and i don't think i'll be able to kick along for that. :( Especially if he intends to do some travelling over the summer.   We haven't exactly made up plans for the next year.... I think Mathias has thought of more of what he would like me to do than I have thought about it.  My goal is to finish my school though.  I just want it done so I can move on to working on something else.  Mathias thinks i should come back to Denmark next fall... I just don't think that's possible. I'm going to need to spend next Sept - Jan in Winnipeg if I have any hopes of finishing up. After this year i'm going to have 7 classes left. So even if i do full course load for Fall Semester i'll have 2 more classes to figure out. Makes me wonder if I should save some travelling for next summer and just focus on school this summer.  I need to talk to someone in my faculties office about how I can graduate though! Uhg.

I got to meet Aqua after a concert a couple weeks ago. They were all very sweet. They didn't want to come clubbing with us after though. How lame!
